GST registration is an easy process. You can done GST registration online on the government’s official website – https://gst.gov.in.

If you are a new businessman and want to know about the registration process and get your GSTIN number, here is the step-by-step guide on how to get GSTIN number in easy way:

1. Go to the official website – https://gst.gov.in – and click on "Services" and select the Registration form from the given drop-down menu.

2. Select the New Registration tab and now enter all the needed details, such as GST Practitioner/Taxpayer/Tax Deductor, along with your district/state/union territory, PAN, name, email ID, Mobile number, etc.

3. An OTP will be sent to the email ID and your registered Mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on Continue.

4. A Temporary Reference Number (TRN) will be reflected on the screen and it will also be sent to the mobile number and email ID.

5. Again go to the Services and click on Registration. Now, select the Temporary Reference Number (TRN).

6. Enter your TRN number, fill out the verification characters and click on Proceed.

7. Again an OPT will be sent to your email ID and Mobile number. Enter that OTP and click again on Proceed.

8. The application will appear in the draft form, now click on edit format.

9. Now you have to fill details of all the requested documents, such as Photographs,
Constitution of the taxpayer, Bank account details, etc,

10. After uploading the details and documents, go to Verification page and tick on the following:

* Using e-Sign – OTP will be sent to Aadhaar registered number
* Companies must submit an application using DSC
* Using EVC – OTP will be sent to the registered mobile

After that, a success message will appear on the screen and you will receive Application Reference Number (ARN) or GSTIN number on your registered mobile number and email ID.
