Just like your credit or debit card you might not be aware how to track the usage of your Aadhaar card or e aadhar card. Sometimes, this information you share is used for different purposes and to avoid incidences of fraud you might have to monitor it on a regular basis.

Here’s how you can track usage of your Aadhaar card. Here’s the guide to Check your Aadhar Card Usage through These Steps. Take a look at these steps now-

Step 1- Visit the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) website. This is the official authority of Aadhaar.
Step 2- Click at the 'Aadhaar Authentication History' under the Aadhaar Services tab.
Step 3- Enter your UID/ Aadhaar number along with the security code in the space provided.
Step 4- Click on the 'send OTP' link.
Step 5- Enter the One Time Password (OTP) you receive on your registered mobile number.
Step 6- In the next web page you will be asked to choose an authentication type. In the drop-down menu, you receive the following options. You can choose either of it or ‘all’.
  • Demographic
  • Biometric
  • OTP
  • Demographic and Biometric
  • Biometric and OTP
  • Demographic and OTP
Enter data range in the 'select data range' column. You can choose a time frame of up to up to 6 months. Enter the number of records you want to view. You can choose up to a maximum of 50 records. In the end, re-enter the OTP you received on your mobile number and click 'submit'.
Step 7- Once you are directed to the new webpage, you get to view the history of your Aadhaar card usage in the last 6 months.
