How Ayushman Bharat Yojana is Going to Help Indians
Ayushman Bharat Yojana is a health care scheme which has now been renamed as Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, and aims on providing healthcare facilities to 10 crore economically weaker families. It is one of the few noble schemes which is successfully fulfilling its purpose. It was launched by hon'ble PM Mr. Narendra Modi realizing the poor healthcare index of India.
How Would Ayushman Bharat Yojana Help Indians and Who is Eligible?
- People under poverty line will surely benefit from the scheme. For instance, people who don't even have a proper walled-house can enrol themselves for Ayushman Bharat and avail the benefits.
- Beggars, people of the lower-class community and also people belonging from the tribal primitive community have also been promised for being eligible.
- Apart from that, people working for the government body are also going to be benefited as promised by our Prime Minister.
- Proof of Address- you can submit documents like your Aadhar Card in order to verify the address that you live in, and in case if you do not have Aadhar Card, you would not be able to avail the scheme.
- Proof of Identity- to open the account you would need two passport-sized photos along with an identity proof like Voter’s card.
You can visit your nearest your nearest empanelled hospitals, 'arogya mitras' to enrol themselves for Modicare or for beneficiary verification, authentication, query management, and grievance redressal.
