As per the recent judgement passed on by the Supreme Court, linking Aadhaar card is mandatory only with PAN cards for filing ITR. Even then, you might still have to link your Aadhaar card with your LPG provider. Here’s why? If you do not have aadhar, know how to get aadhar card online. The government announced the LPG subsidy programme to curb the LPG scam in India. The scheme came in effect from 1st January, 2015. Since then, every Indian household registered with the programme is receiving the applicable subsidy in their bank account. Accordingly, to ensure the subsidy reaches the right person, it is crucial that your Bank account and your LPG connection is linked with your Aadhar card.
