Aadhaar as a uniform identity proof has simplified the process of availing welfare schemes and subsidies by the government. Whenever the government launches any welfare scheme, through Aadhaar card the benefit is directly transferred to your bank account.
As it acts as a unique identity document in all the places where your information is needed, it is necessary that your Aadhaar number is secured. You can check where your Aadhaar number has been used by availing the Aadhaar authentication history on the UIDAI website. For doing so, visit the official UIDAI website and enter your e Aadhaar card number. Click on the 'Get OTP' button and enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number. Now, select on the authentication option and click at 'all'. Select the data range, you can select a maximum of 6 months in this option. You can also select the number of records you want to see for a maximum of 50 records. Enter the OTP again and then click submit. You would be directed to a new webpage, where you can view your Aadhaar usage history.
